The World Trade Game
The World Trade Game (WTG) was developed by Jan Tinbergen (1903 to 1994), Nobel Prize Winner for Economics in 1969 and a professor at Institute of Social Studies in Hague, Netherlands. This game is conducted by Junior Chamber Netherlands in all World Congress.
The objective of the game is to present participants with real-life scenarios and challenges their abilities to manage limited resources for maximum results. The game is fun, entertaining, creative, interactive and also offer the opportunity to get to know your trade counterpart better.
Learning objectives include:
· Team building, team dynamics and employee bonding
· Develop negotiation, selling, communication and networking skills
· Develop financial, stress and time management ability
Junior Chamber Singapore introduced the game to Singapore in 1999. The response has been extremely positive. Since then, we have conducted for several organisations, including National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI), CPF board, Great Eastern Life, Ngee Ann Poly, Catholic Junior College, Raffles Girls School, Singapore Chinese Girls School and ITE.
Feel free to contact us. We will be glad to explore with you further how this game can add value to your organization.
